The VELTOP RECUMBENT Fixation 3
consists of the following parts  (see details in "SPARE PARTS"):
   - 1 two-part windscreen
   - 1 front fixing system of 2 plates for the boom
   - 1 black link piece with 2 fixing parts and 2 spacers 16-22mm
   - 1 water-resistant canopy rolled upon a tube and stored in a bag
   - 2 fiberglass poles (4 parts)
   - 2 transparent side protections with their arches + 1 storage bag
   - 1 seat armatur adaptation
   - 1 Alan key
   - 1 instruction of installment

All metal pieces and screws are of aluminium or stainless steel.
The windscreen is of polycarbonate which guarantees a strong shock resistance.
The canopy is of polyester with a water-resistant treatment and is equipped with reflection strips in the back.
Choice of different colours:
   - Yellow               with black edges
   - Light blue         with black edges
   - Turkish blue     with black edges
   - Light grey         with black edges
   - Black                 with grey edges

BENEFITS OF THE DEVICE:
The VELTOP Recumbent Fix.3 provides an integral protection by rain, cold and sun and allows the rider to use his bike all the year.
Its modulation allows to choose a degree of protection according to the weather conditions.
The whole part of the body is completely protected. Only the arms remains a bit exposed to water.
The gliding system of the windscreen allows to keep it closed or to open a view-window of 10 cm maximum in its middle.
The user can regulate the air-flux to gain a better visibility in case of frost, snow etc…
In summer, it can be transform into a  RECUMBENT SUN version by removing the lower part of the windscreen and by replacing the upper part with the SUN armatur (sold as an option in the "ACCESSORIES" part of the menu). It is then possible to ride without windscreen and keep the canopy only for the Sun protection.
Thanks to his visual impact, cars remain in better distance as usuel, providing more security for the rider.
It takes only 2 minutes to fold or unfold the canopy.
The device is simple to handle, light weighted and esthetic.

INSTALLMENT:
The 2 plates are to be fixed around the boom in front of the crankset (example for models like: HASE Lepus or Kettwiesel, etc…)
The windscreen is placed in the 2 fixing pieces of the 2 plates.
In the back, the support of the canopy is placed on the seat armatur adaptation. (height and lenght adjustable).
The angle of the tube of the carrier adaptation can equally be modified in order to approch or move away the canopy according to the size of the cyclist.
The metallic framework on top of the windscreen houses the poles which support the canopy.
The VELTOP RECUMBENT Fix.3 can be installed on all recumbent models without tube support of derailleur and without luggage carrier.

WAYS OF USING:
The VELTOP RECUMBENT Fix.3 can be used in 4 different figures :
   - Canopy spread out      with side panels
   - Canopy spread out      without  side panels
   - Windscreen only          complete 
   - Windscreen only          with the lower part only

ADVICES:
Clean regularely the windscreen with some humid cotton pads to avoid scratching and a few drops of a soft cleaning liquid to maintain a good visibility and to enhance the dripping of the rain.
Choose the VELTOP layout according to the weather conditions and draw back the canopy by strong wind.
